Thursday Oct. 11th Continental Breakfast House on the Rock Lodge * 8:20 am Load Motor Coach 8:30 am Leave for House on Rock 9:00 am - 12:00 amVisit the Incredible House on the Rock A. Suggestion: Escort will lead you through the actual house. Just make it a fairly brisk walk through. Most of your time you will want to spend in the incredible museum. How a man ever had enough money and time to find the articles in the House on the Rock is amazing to say the least. The House on the Rock took fifteen years to build. B. If you stopped and examined every item in the House on the Rock you could easily spend a week. You have but three hours. For some three hours is enough. For others they will wish that we had given more time. Like Air Conditioning, you cannot please everyone. With the amount of walking involved to walk the museum and with what else we have to do, we feel that a three hour tour is adequate to familiarize one with this incredible collection. C. There are concessions in the building. Whether or not you want to take time out for concessions or use what time you have to view will be up to you. Remember, we will be eating lunch a short time after our visit about one half hour down the road. 12:05 pm Load Motor Coach and Depart House on Rock 12:00 Pm Arrive Rookies for Lunch
Rookies is unique, you may get a salad, burger, fish sandwich etc, you will find a very adequate lunch at Rookies, and the clam chowder is chocked full of clams.
