1 ALABAMA | MONTGOMERY:
Today, we travel to Montgomery, the capital city of Alabama. Our city tour will include a drive by of the Capitol, First White House of the Confederacy, the Scott & Zelda Fitzgerald Museum, the Hank Williams Memorial and many other points of interest. We overnight in Greenville, Alabama.
2 LOUISIANA | MARTIN ACCORDIONS | CAJUN DINNER:
In the Cajun Country of Lafayette, Louisiana, we enjoy a special treat as we tour Martin Accordions to see how accordions are made. Junior Martin and his family custom craft fine diatonic accordions used by professional and amateur musicians around the world. You’re sure to enjoy the demonstration of authentic Cajun Music played on these fine Cajun Squeezeboxes. Tonight we enjoy an authentic Cajun dinner, as well as the festive music and atmosphere, at Mulate’s Restaurant. We spend the night in Lafayette. (D)
3 SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS | DINNER:
Travel today takes us to San Antonio, our home for the next two nights. San Antonio is the 9th largest city in the United States and is one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas. You’ll understand why when you get a glimpse of this beautiful city! Dinner tonight is included on the Riverwalk. (D)
4 ALAMO | IMAX THEATER | RIVERWALK:
Highlights of the day include a visit to The Alamo, established in 1718 as the city’s first mission, and a most interesting film, “Alamo - The Price of Freedom” at the IMAX Theater. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the Riverwalk area along the shores of the San Antonio River. Shops, restaurants, boutiques, and vendors line the banks of the river.

5 Y O RANCH | LUNCH | NATIONAL MUSEUM OF THE PACIFIC WAR:
Saddle up, partner, we’re burnin’ daylight! We get a glimpse of the Old West at the Y.O. Ranch, a 40,000-acre working ranch, and see the country’s largest collection of exotic wild animals. All this sightseeing sharpens the appetite, so saunter-on-up to the table for a mouth watering Chuckwagon lunch. We then head north to Fredericksburg and visit The National Museum of the Pacific War, the only institution in the continental United States dedicated exclusively to telling the story of the Pacific Theater battles of World War II. We overnight in Austin. (L)
6 AUSTIN - STATE CAPITOL | TEXAS RANGER MUSEUM | FORT WORTH STOCKYARDS | CATTLE DRIVE | STEAK DINNER:
This morning we drive by the State Capitol Building in Austin. In Waco we visit the Texas Ranger Museum. Here we will find out all about these famous lawmen who have been called one of the most effective investigative law enforcement agencies in the world. Arriving in Fort Worth, it’s apparent that the Old West is thriving in the Stockyards National Historic District! See a real Texas Longhorn cattle drive down Exchange Avenue and enjoy the authenticity of the Stockyards. Dinner tonight is included at one of Dallas’ popular steak restaurants. (D)
7 DALLAS | SIXTH FLOOR MUSEUM | ARKANSAS | MURRY’S DINNER PLAYHOUSE:
Dallas is probably most noted as the site of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The Sixth Floor Museum displays an interesting exhibition on the life, death, and legacy of President Kennedy. It is here in the former Texas School Book Depository that Lee Harvey Oswald supposedly fired his fatal shots. Before leaving Dallas we stop at Pioneer Plaza to see the larger-than-life bronze cattle drive. We travel to Little Rock, Arkansas, for the night. This evening we enjoy a delicious buffet dinner and fabulous live entertainment at Murry’s Dinner Playhouse. (D)

8 MEMPHIS | GRACELAND | NASHVILLE | DINNER:
Graceland, the home of the legendary Elvis Presley, will give us a glimpse into the personal life of one of the world’s greatest entertainers. We have dinner and overnight in Nashville. (D)
