Hello, I am Ron Halbert, owner of Econoway Motor Coach / Overland Tours and I would like to  thank you for logging on to a very new and much needed concept for the motor coach operator. Because of the precious, and sometimes impatient cargo that we transport, the motor coach industry, though we are  often friendly competitors, (and I have seen some not so friendly) the industry needs a very strong network that compliments each other in times of need and a network that can make us all extremely proud to be a member of the motor coach operators of the United States of America.  No company that I can recall, is so big that they do not at some time need a helping hand from another operator.

As  you view our web site and see what we are attempting  to do,  to be of service and help to grow your business and to help you during those moments when you have a most pressing problem, such as a breakdown. Having motor coaches all over the Midwest, Eastern, and Southern States at any given time,  there is no way possible that I can know who to call at 6:00 pm on Sunday evening when I have a motor coach problem in your town. Oh yes I do have a directory of motor coach companies who are members of my trade association but either the call goes into voice mail, the area code has been changed, the company does not have a garage, or whatever.

As you know Trouble always comes on weekends or after normal business hours.  As a small motor coach operator of twelve motor coaches for the past 25 years, I have learned much but have only scratched the surface of the vast information that would be valuable to me as the CEO and entrepreneur of my company, if only someone would be willing to share that with me. So, for the past 25 years I have been in the industry that I dearly love, have often found my self quite frustrated (LOL) and would give my right arm if I could find a tire company who would come out at 10:00 pm and change a punctured front tire. Thus your input of who is available in your local area, such as 24 hour tire and road service, 24 hour bus shops, etc would be very helpful. Sitting here in Indiana, I am limited as to know who could be called to assist and help my driver when in St Louis, who could I call in Dallas, or Denver, etc. Therefore if your company does outside work in dire time of need, or if you know these speciality people who are available in your "neck of the woods", please e-mail me the company name, area code and phone number, we will call them and add them to the list.  My email address is as  follows: busmartinc@aol.com
