General Information and Insurance

Overland Tours is in our 27th year of planning and taking Motor Coach Tours throughout the lower 48 states.

We provide excellent maintained motor coaches featuring personal headsets at each seat with 5 – 8 channels of music, DVD and VHS for a very personal entertainment experience while traveling to and from our destinations. We do have other coaches in our Econoway Motor Coach fleet that are not so equipped that we use in our standard charter bus operation. However, only our personal entertainment coaches are used on an Overland Tour. If you are a group in need of a standard motor coach charter bus, we would be glad to give you a quote for the trip you desire. If you are a Travel Company, overseas visitors, or corporate account that needs one of our entertainment coaches, we would be glad to give you a quote also.

Overland Tour Tourist Policy

Deposit and Final Payment: ALL DEPOSITS FOR ALL TOURS ARE DUE within 2 weeks of reserving: Day Trips must have $25 deposit down. Overnights: $50 deposit due on tours under $600, $100 deposit on tours of higher cost. Final payment is due in Overland Office 31 days prior to departure for Day Trips and 45 days prior to departure for Overnight Tours. Exceptions may occasionally occur depending on tour features and/or space availability.

RESERVATIONS CANNOT BE HELD WITHOUT A DEPOSIT
Refund Policy: Overland Tours’ policy is to return all money when possible. Refund amounts and at what interval from departure date are dependent upon suppliers’ release policies. We do offer Cancellation Insurance and we strongly suggest that travelers protect their investment by purchasing travel insurance which covers any last minute personal or medical emergencies that would prevent one from traveling. This initial investment protects from loss of money when outside vendors have stringent non-refundable policies.

Tours Include: Round Trip transportation via deluxe motor coach, lodging, admissions, sight-seeing, meals and gratuities as indicated on the itinerary. Luggage handling for one large bag provided on most overnight tours which involve multiple hotels. Tours are professionally escorted. Not included are gratuities for hotel maid service, Tour Escort and Driver. Gratuities are voluntary and to be based upon your receiving excellent customer service. The industry standard recommended gratuity per driver/per escort is $2.00 per traveler per tour day. Major tour departures Muncie, Anderson, Fishers, Indianapolis, Greenfield and any other city that is enroute, however, every city may not be available on every tour. Special transportation arrangements can be made from other locations at a slight additional cost.

Price Change: Should any company, supplier, or vendor issue price increases up to the day of use, we reserve the right to alter our published rate to reflect the change and collect any additional costs. We reserve the right to correct printing errors.

Tour Companies are required By Vendors to finalize Plans 45-90 Days In Advance Your EARLY Reservation Will Help Assure a successful Tour Departure.
